The FRA performed a consequence analysis of the grassroots EF90 terminal located in Corpus Cristi. Our work included detailed modeling of dispersion of toxic and flammable vapors as well as explosions resulting from vagrant releases. The consequences to on site facilities and personnel as well as off-site was evaluated. This analysis was used to help determine gas sensor placement, the fire protection needs for the facility, and also to determine blast resistance requirements for the facility, particularly for occupied buildings.
