The FRA provides a full spectrum of hazard assessment and risk analysis services to LNG Import/Export and peak-shaving facilities. We have worked on numerous LNG projects conducting Process Hazard analysis to identify hazards, potential consequences, safeguards, quantify the risk associated with each hazard, and identify additional actions as needed to ensure safety standards are met for all parts and stages of the process.

We conduct consequence modeling on release scenarios associated with identified Single Accidental Leakage Sources (SALS) using industry standard software (PHAST) and advanced Computational Fluid Dynamics software (FDS, FLACS) to determine the extent of: thermal radiation contours; 1/2 LFL vapor clouds; toxic gas & asphyxiate dispersion; and over-pressure from flammable vapor cloud explosions. We can model the impact of trenching, containment basins, berms, structures, equipment, and piping on thermal radiation and flammable vapor cloud dispersion associated with liquid releases and flashing and/or jetting releases.
